Who Writes Roopalia
Every article on Roopalia is researched and written by Dhanpat Singh.
He spent 39 years in the Rajasthan judiciary, working as a Personal Assistant to various judges, where a large part of his work was the drafting of judgments — writing in which every sentence must rest on evidence, and a claim can never be presented as a finding. He took voluntary retirement and started Roopalia as a small independent publication.
He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication, and has been writing professionally for over three decades.
That training is the reason Roopalia reads the way it does. We keep a claim and its proof separate. What a scripture actually says, we cite the scripture for. What is folk belief, we call folk belief. And where we cannot find a reliable source, we say so plainly rather than quietly repeating what other sites say — you will find that stated openly inside several of our articles.
Dhanpat Singh writes on beauty, tradition and culture, not on law, medicine or astrology. Where a subject touches health or ritual timing, we point readers to a doctor or to an established panchang rather than presenting ourselves as the authority.
